Helicopter to the Cannes Yachting Festival
Europe's leading on-water boat show fills two ports — and every road into Cannes.
In early September, the Cannes Yachting Festival takes over both the Vieux Port and Port Canto, drawing yacht buyers, brokers and shipyards from around the world. The town absorbs the crowd; the A8 and the Croisette do not. From Nice Côte d'Azur airport, the flight to Cannes-Mandelieu takes seven minutes.

Why helicopter
- ✓The show occupies two ports at opposite ends of the Croisette, and traffic between them is restricted for much of the day. The transfer by car routinely takes longer than the flight from Nice.
- ✓The A8 exit at Cannes and the approach roads saturate from mid-morning throughout the festival. Seven minutes in the air replaces an hour or more in traffic.
- ✓Buyers and shipyard teams often stack several visits into one trip — Cannes, Monaco, Genoa. The helicopter makes a same-day Cannes–Monaco combination realistic.
- ✓Sea trials run on tight slots during the show. Arriving by air keeps a morning trial and an afternoon meeting compatible.

Book early: September is the busiest month of the year at Cannes-Mandelieu, and landing slots during the festival are contingented.

We coordinate with your concierge, broker or exhibitor team so the ground transfer on the Cannes side matches your show appointments.

Flights operate under visual flight rules (VFR). If weather prevents the flight, we arrange a private car transfer as fallback so your schedule holds.

Allow a short buffer between landing and your first appointment; a driver meets you at the helipad and the Vieux Port is about fifteen minutes away.

Can I book at the last minute during the show?

Sometimes, but slots at Cannes-Mandelieu are limited during festival week and the best departure times go first. Reserve as soon as your dates are confirmed; for a genuine last-minute request, call us and we will tell you honestly what remains available.
How do I get from Cannes-Mandelieu to the Vieux Port?

A driver meets you at the helipad. Outside show hours the transfer takes about fifteen minutes; during the festival we plan around the known congestion points and your driver is confirmed before you take off.
