Bad Ragaz is a Saint Gallen thermal resort at the mouth of the Rhine valley, fed by the hot springs of the Tamina gorge. Its aerodrome is listed in the federal register. It is both a destination in itself — spa, golf, hotels — and the gateway to Flims, Laax and Pizol, further up the valley.
When to go
The spa and golf carry traffic that never really stops, and winter adds the Grisons ski areas. It is one of the few destinations on the network where summer and winter demand balance out.
