Davos is reached by air through a helicopter landing site near Davos Platz, a short distance from the town centre and its main hotels. It is the most direct arrival from Swiss and French airports, without the mountain road transfer. This site is not listed in the Swiss federal register of public aerodromes and heliports: landing depends on its operator's authorisation, which we confirm when we quote.
When to go
Demand concentrates on the winter ski season and the summer months. Every flight is subject to alpine weather on the day and to landing clearance at the site, confirmed when we quote. One exception to note: WEF week in late January, when local airspace is restricted for security reasons.
