The helipad
Getting there
Interlaken takes its name from its position, between lakes Thun and Brienz, at the entrance to the Bernese Oberland. The Wilderswil field is listed in the federal register and serves as the arrival point for the Jungfrau massif — Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and beyond them Wengen and Mürren, which are reached only by rail and cable.
When to go
Winter from December to April across the Jungfrau Ski Region, and heavy summer traffic — hiking, lakes, paragliding. Interlaken is one of the few alpine destinations where summer weighs as much as winter.
